While the source code was updated a long time ago, it took somewhat more time to update the trial, test things out and put the documentation online. Specifically, the following happened:
- the Graphite trial has been updated and now contains the commodity sample
- the demo restriction of ten nodes has been removed. Many potential customers complained they couldn’t create a proof of concept with the this narrow limitation. I hope this will make things easier, but it makes the need to actually buy the source code of Graphite less pressing.
- the documentation has been updated and now contains an in-depth overview of the samples and the code
- the online documentation has been updated
- the Visual Studio solution has been updated to VS2010
- reorganization of the code, streamlined usage of LINQ and the ‘var’ token
- fixes and customer feedback integration
Graphite continues to be a ‘best-seller’ and I hope this update will help (potential) customers get the most out of this simple yet effective control.
