Better SSRS Reports

SQL Server Reportng Services (SSRS) is an amazing world of possibilities. So is Telerik’s Reporting toolkit, but out of the box they produce rather boring reports. Typically developers don’t like to put much effort into making things more appealing. At the same time, designers are often not around in a lot of enterprises and even then; designers are typically not people who care much about technical details and coding.
So, this results into reporting and intranets in general with a low wooaw-value and while a lot of managers will on average care more about hard figures than the color of reports it’s undeniable that during conferences and managing board meetings the more stylized reports and slides are the ones with a bigger impact on the audience.
